Agreement

By using Download X Video you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

What the service does

Download X Video takes a link to a publicly accessible post on X, reads the public data that X publishes for that post, and provides direct download links for any video or GIF attached to it.

The service does not host, store or modify video content. Files are streamed from X's servers to your device. We add only the header that instructs your browser to save the file rather than play it.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use the files you download. In particular, you agree that:

• You will download only content you own, content you have permission to save, or content whose use is permitted by law in your jurisdiction, for example under fair use or fair dealing.
• You will not use the service to infringe copyright, redistribute other people's work as your own, or commercially exploit content you did not create.
• You will not use automated tools, scripts or bots to make requests at scale.
• You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits or otherwise disrupt the service.
• You will not use the service to access content that is private, protected or otherwise restricted.

Downloading a file through this service does not grant you any rights to it. The video remains the property of whoever created it, and copyright law applies exactly as it did before.

What the service cannot do

Some limits are set by X and cannot be worked around by us or by any other tool:

• Posts from protected accounts are not publicly readable.
• Videos sent in direct messages have no public URL.
• Deleted posts no longer exist and cannot be recovered.
• Age-restricted posts require an authenticated session that a public tool does not have.
• The maximum available quality is fixed by what the uploader provided. No tool can produce a higher resolution than the platform stores.

Availability

The service is provided as-is and without any guarantee of uptime. It depends on X's public endpoints, which can change or become unavailable without notice. Features may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

No warranty

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any specific post will resolve successfully.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Download X Video is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or lost profits.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

No affiliation with X

Download X Video is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to X Corp in any way. X and the X logo are trademarks of their respective owner, used here only to describe what the service does.

Copyright complaints

We do not host content, so there is nothing stored here to remove. If your work is being distributed without permission, the effective route is a report to X, which does host the file.

If you believe the service itself is being misused in relation to your rights, write to hello@downloadxvideo.site with details and we will respond.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version always appears on this page with its revision date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
