Bug reports, corrections to the guides, and copyright questions all go to the same address.
Everything comes to one address: hello@downloadxvideo.site.
There is no contact form here, deliberately, a form would mean collecting and storing your message and address on a server, which runs against how the rest of the site is built.
Most reports turn out to be one of a handful of known limits rather than a bug. Checking these first will usually get you an answer faster than waiting for a reply:
The troubleshooting guide works through every one of these in detail.
If none of it applies, do write, and include the post link along with your browser and device. Without the link there is usually no way to reproduce what you saw.
The guides make specific technical claims about how X encodes and serves video. Platforms change, and some of what is written here will eventually go stale.
If you spot something inaccurate, please say so. Corrections are genuinely welcome, and pointing at the specific claim makes it much quicker to verify and fix.
We do not host any video content, so there is nothing stored here that can be taken down. Files stream from X's servers directly to the person downloading them.
If your work is being distributed without permission, a report to X is the effective route, since X holds the file. If you believe this service is being misused in relation to your rights, write with details and we will respond.
The privacy policy covers what is and is not processed. If something is unclear or you want a specific question answered, email is fine.
This is a small project rather than a company with a support desk. Replies usually take a few days. Bug reports that include a reproducible link get looked at first.
Paste a link to a public post on X and save the video in the resolution you need.
